About the meeting of the Russian Ambassador to Ethiopia H.E. Mr. Evgeny Terekhin with Mr. Solomon Belay, Director General of the Ethiopian Institute of Space Science and Technology

On February 13, Ambassador of Russia to Ethiopia H.E. Mr. E.Terekhin, met with Mr. Solomon Belay, Director General of the Ethiopian Institute of Space Science and Technology. The Ambassador congratulated the head of the Institute on the successful launch of the first Ethiopian satellite and wished every success in the further implementation of the space research program in Ethiopia.

The parties advocated for strengthening the interaction between Ethiopian scientists and Russian research institutions. They discussed the specifics of training of Ethiopian high-qualified research and engineering personnel in the field of space science and technology.
