Telephone conversation between President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed

On April 7, 2020, on the initiative of the Ethiopian Side, President of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia H.E. Mr. Abiy Ahmed.

In the context of the situation regarding the coronavirus spreading the two leaders stressed the importance of intensifying efforts of the entire international community, including the IMF and the World Bank, to combat the infection.

Topical issues of bilateral relations were also discussed.
